New Lost Friend Video and EP

Lost Friend has a new EP and a video out now. The video for the first single, “Next year, Saint Peter” has been kindly premiered by The Fire Note. The video was created by Palm Ghosts guitarist Benjamin Douglas, the song was written By Christopher Palassis, played and recorded by Palassis and Andy Ingram, and then mixed and mastered by Tim Prtichard at Big Horned Audio. The full six-song EP, “The Promises You Don’t Keep”, is available now from BandCamp and streaming from Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube, and everywhere else.

Our Beautiful Irene Queen Has Passed

We are brokenhearted to share that our beautiful Irene Queen passed away May 7, 2025 after multiple years battling cancer. Irene was a frequent vocalist with Lost Friend, Second Best, and L'Albatros. She was an amazing sister, friend, and band mate with a perfect voice, even if she didn't think so. While Lost Friend has new music already scheduled to release that Irene did not have the energy to be part of, all money raised will be donated to cancer research. Irene was a joy to know and sing with and it's devastating to lose her so young.

New Acoustic EP from Lost Friend

Gigi Palassis is releasing a beautifully melancholy batch of songs for Lost Friend, this time accompanied by the wonderful voice of his sister, Irene Queen. “Echo Lane” is two brand new songs written and recorded in October as a reprieve as Irene is in a terrible fight with cancer. The other three songs are re-worked or re-mixed songs featuring the brother-sister duo that were never properly released after the band L’Albatros dissolved. Irene’s voice is amazing and we want everyone to hear her and support her in her struggle against cancer.
